If you would like to walk, simply turn right outside the station, when you get to the main junction at the traffic lights with Micklegate bar on your left, turn right down Blossom Street. At the next junction, go straight on over Holgate road and proceed onto the Mount, Mount Parade is about 200 meters on your right just after the Carlton House Hotel. By Car: From Leeds Travelling Along the A64 from Leeds, take the second exit for York, towards York Racecourse and York City Centre. Go straight on through the first set of traffic lights, then left at the junction, towards York. From Scarborough When you get to the main roundabout on the A64 go straight on. Take the third exit for York towards York Racecourse Then Stay in the left had lane and turn left towards York City Centre. Take the third exit at the roundabout towards York City Centre. You will pass the racecourse on your right then the Elmbank Hotel on your left. At the Main junction, go straight over the traffic lights and Mount Parade is located about 100 meters after the lights on your left next to the Carlton House Hotel. From Harrogate When you reach the York ring road, go straight over the roundabout towards York City Centre. Just carry straight on for a few miles When you get to the Iron bridge, go over the bridge and turn immediately left onto Dalton Terrace. At the lights at the end of Dalton Terrace, turn left onto the Mount and Mount Parade is about 100 meters on your left. The entrance to Mount Parade is quite small, if you miss it, carry on down the Mount past Kwick Fit and turn left at the traffic lights onto Holgate Road. When you see the Iron Bridge, turn left onto Dalton Terrace, then at the lights at the end of Dalton Terrace, turn left again onto the Mount and Mount Parade is on your left. You can unload your car outside 13 Mount Parade, permit parking is available on the Mount. The parking zone runs from the traffic lights at the top of the Mount down to the traffic lights near Holgate road, permits will be provided for your stay. |
